Our Principal Fabricator, Brian Dowling has over 15 years of metal working experience. He holds a degree in sculpture from Maryland Institute, College of Art. With experience in metal fabrication, foundry processes, metal finishing, large scale sculpture fabrication, transportation and installation, his clients include professional artists, commercial clients such as restaurants and stores, furniture makers and lighting manufacturers. Brian was the Studio Manager and Associate Director of the Steel Yard in Providence Rhode Island for 7 years, where he also taught classes in sculpture and introduction to metal working. He also has an active artistic studio practice with a focus in stone carving.
Our principal metalsmith, April Franklin has over 25 years of experience with metal. From working on maintaining large scale outdoor pieces to producing one of a kind interior architectural pieces and following her own passion for pattern welded steel, April has a wealth of experience with a wide range of materials. She has taught at the Penland School of Crafts in N.C. and the Steel Yard, in R.I.
